    Business Segment Healthcare Life Sciences Role Summary/Purpose This is a high impact, high customer contact position that requires a great deal of initiative in commercial and communication areas. Understanding how to demonstrate, sell and position our solution footprint is required. Position requires that the candidate continue to grow from a technical and commercial aspect by self-study and education outside of the normal work environment. Frequent travel is required.Essential Responsibilities Develop and executive a regional sales strategy•Leverage the existing installed base, partnerships and assess the different untapped markets to develop a strategy across a region. Define the target customers, ecosystem to develop and solutions to promote in order to maximize commercial success.Meet or Exceed Annual Sales Goal•Through direct customer contact, selective solution partners, and regional teams, meet or exceed sales plan (deeper and broader penetration) by creating value to customers for our solution footprint.Actively Grow Pipeline•Through the use of coordinated activities with Marketing and Account Development teams, through own initiatives, grow and maintain a pipeline of 3 X annual quotaGrowth Account Development•Responsible for the development of Growth Accounts within the assigned account package.•Growth accounts have done minimal business with GE, but have potential for significant growth based on vertical or application fit.•Drive key activities, including prospecting, strategy planning, executive relationship development, discovery assessment and pilot activity.Develop and Drive Enterprise Account Strategy•Aggressively develop and drive a sustainable commercial and solution strategy across the top accounts.•Where applicable, develop a joint Governance process with executive sponsorship that aligns along the following pillars – Commercial, Product/Technology, Implementation and Support.•Leverage the “Big GE” by coordinating across multiple GE divisions to solve customer challenges and enhance value and loyalty.Opportunity Tracking Review•Identify and initiate steps in sales cycles for products, services, and training.•Monitor opportunities, through the GE sales process and ensure salesforce.com updates.•Be responsible for accurately forecasting opportunities in salesforce.com.•Be responsible for leading “deal reviews” as part of ongoing pipeline reviews.Ensuring a Professional Sales Experience for customers during all aspects of sales process and touch points including:•Formal meeting agendas, formal follow-up stating sequence of events and next steps in writing, and issue resolution in a timely fashion.Quality Specific Goals:· Knowledge and understanding of all Global Privacy and Anti-Competition Policies (including but not limited to GE Healthcare HIPPA Guidelines, NEMA Regulations, etc.) and operates within them to ensure that no company policy or US / Int’l Law is broken.· Knowledge and understanding of all Environmental Health Policies (including but not limited to GE Healthcare EHS Policies, GE Healthcare Fleet Rules, etc.) and operate within them to ensure that no company policy or US / Int’l Law is broken.· Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position.· Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines· Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required.· Drive continuous improvement on all related processes, work instructions, and procedures to ensure ongoing standardization and simplification of the Quality Management System.Qualifications/Requirements 1. Education to Bachelor Degree level or the equivalent of five years of sales experience.2. 3 years of strategic sales experience.3. 3 years of experience in life sciences industry.4. Proven key account management and project planning skills.5. Strong influencing, interpersonal and networking skills to drive collaborative culture at all levels.6. Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.7. Proven track record on relationship building skills.8. High level presentation skills; able to present ideas to customers in a way that produces understanding and impact.Desired Characteristics 1. Master’s degree preferred.2. Experience closing large, complex, strategic deals.3. Deep knowledge of GE Healthcare and the products and services offered.4. Fluent in English language.
